Inside Out

The wind blows across Lake Geneva and also around Kunsthalle Marcel Duchamp, the “world’s smallest museum.” But which way does the wind blow when art meets viewer? The artist subjected the new building of the Kunsthalle to a wind tunnel test (08/04/2016 Zurich) in an artistic quest for the “poetry of the real”, the fictional in the factual. The test was indeed an aerodynamic curiosity, for the wind tunnel test was carried out not on a scale model, as is usually the case, but on the actual building, to the scale of 1:1.
